Amazing surgery. Always helpful, friendly, understanding that nobody wants to go to a doctors and making he experience as pleasant and efficient as possible. Doctors and nurses are all excellent, as well. Unfortunately, due to chronic health problems, I should have frequent visitor miles

Doctors could explore more whether there are any psychological or stressful factors that may be contributing to physical symptoms. Patients should feel that they are not just there to be given a prescription or a printout of other support services available. It is good that it's usually possible to get an appointment the same day, and the nurses, doctors and receptionists are all friendly.

Trying to make an appointment to see the Doctor when you work full time is problematic because of the hours the surgery is open. Phoning the hotline to make an appointment in the morning or afternoon is quite a stressful experience when you are feeling unwell. I can imagine it will put some people off making an appointment. I do not know what the alternatives are but not being able to make a scheduled appointment with a Doctor in advance to discuss results for example seems excessive but I understand how it will allow you to efficiently prioritise and effectively deploy resources. The whole process leaves you feeling like you are bothersome. This however is in marked contrast with the experience once you do get through the door. The Receptionists, Nuses, Plebotomists and Dr's who are fabulous. They are professional, helpful, caring and concerned. It is a marvellous effective general practice which, when you get inside, is an example to GP surgeries. I'm not sure how long I have been at the practice, at least twenty years, but from my perspective the service has always been good but keeps getting better. I only have issues with the manner in which we make appointments which I hope I have made clear.

I have been at this surgery for many years. During this time I have had some serious health issues. I am registered with Dr Meade who has always been extremely good with me and always willing to listen and answer all my questions. I have also seen the other Doctors in the surgery who have been equally helpful and knowledgeable. All the nurses have been excellent whether it has involved wound dressings, blood tests or any other services. The receptionists again have been amazing. They will move heaven and earth to help you. They are caring and helpful when I have needed to phone them. All in all I am extremely happy with the service I have received.
